The challenge, the approach and the result behind this project.
A growing product catalog being managed through static files that were never designed for constant change. Frequent updates turning into repetitive cycles of redesign, redistribution, and version mismatches. Teams relying on workarounds to keep things moving, slowing down what should have been straightforward. A need for controlled access that did not come at the cost of usability or speed.
We reworked the catalog into a dynamic, web based system using Shopify as its foundation, shaping it to function as a structured product environment rather than a conventional store. The shift lets Strauss handle their catalog with a lot more ease. Products can be introduced, updated, or phased out without waiting on design revisions or development cycles, while the experience stays consistent throughout. Access remains controlled, and the interface keeps everything clear and intuitive, making it easy to move through and manage at scale.
The shift changed more than just the format. It changed how the team works with the catalog every day. Updates happen as they should, without delays or dependencies slowing things down. Teams stay aligned because everyone is working off the same, current system. Sharing becomes smoother, cleaner, and far more reliable. The catalog now carries the same sense of dependability as the products it represents, and that alignment brings a level of ease that was simply not possible before.
